Keep your craft in our secure compound
Class A £41.75 per year. | “Single handers” e.g. Optimist, Topper, Laser, see Mooring Officer for full list |
Class B £66.50 per year. | All other vessels larger than this up to 20 feet long and less than 1 tonne weight including trailer |
Canoe £20.25 per year | Any canoe or kayak stored on the designated racks |
Note: Any of the above idle for a full season then the fee is doubled. Second season on double fees only with permission of the Mooring Officer
Storage of bigger boats
Why not keep your boat at our club? Members share the cost of cranage and some travel up/down river together. We also have members who will help you navigate the river in safety. Easy access from Manchester & Merseyside for winter work on your boat.
Winter (Oct to Mar) £3.60 per ft per quarter | Summer (April to Sept) £4.80 per ft per quarter |
Notes: Big boats that lie idle in the yard for more than a year will be charged at £7.20 for winter and £9.60 for summer (per ft/qtr). Late payment (after 28 days) will incur a £5 per week surcharge until payment is made in full. Multi-hulls needing extra wide space: the above rate + 50%
All fees should be renewed by the last day of February 2024.

All members receive a copy of our handbook which explains the rules and arrangements for keeping boats in the yard. Please help the smooth running of the club by adhering to the rules.
